 Sport-Link Packaged Headset and Helmet Systems
Sport-Link Communications provides headsets & helmets with a minimum of 33dB passive and ANR systems exceeding 45dB total attenuation in addition to intercom and cable accessories.
All of the Sport-Link headsets and helmets are available in packaged systems, saving time and cost over purchasing items individually. Packages are available with two headsets or two helmets that include an intercom. The system packages available are listed below.

Electret Standard Headset

STANDARD HEADSET
The Electret Standard Headset has a passive noise attenuation of 33 dB. This is less than 25% of the sound reaching the ears as in a 26 dB headset. These headsets are designed for high ambient noise environments, such as, open cockpit, aerobatic, sport, ultralight, and PPC aircraft. These models are also comfortable with slow memory foam ear seals and padded overhead band that is removable for washing. The noise canceling electret microphone has improved clarity over the dynamic models and operates in conjunction with the Sport-Link Gold intercom system.

SPORT-LINK DETACH HELMETS
Sport-Link Detach helmets are designed for additional flexibility allowing the pilot to wear a headset alone or with a helmet. These models are the same as the Open-Face models with the exception that a channel is in the top of the liner to provide space for the headband of the headset to lay. The Detach helmets also come packaged with single or multiple helmets or headsets with an intercom (see below).

SPORT-LINK OPEN-FACE HELMETS
Sport-Link Open-Face helmets are high quality helmets with a headset integrated into the helmet for maximum comfort. The Open-Face models utilize the Standard Electret or Standard Dynamic headset models. These helmets have plush, comfortable interiors and controlled ventilation for warm or cool climate flying.

SPORT-LINK ENCLOSED FACE HELMETS
The Sport-Link Enclosed face helmets are designed for those who desire to have an Electret or Dynamic headset integrated into the helmet and desire a windscreen.
These are typically for the pilot flying higher speed aircraft and do not want high velocity air on their face. These models also are plush on the interior and come in several colors.
Concept 1 Helmet is smaller and lighter for summer use (shown at left).
New Concept 2 is for winter flying and features a more plush helmet and pads for cold weather flying (photos coming soon!).

SPORT-LINK INTERCOMS
Sport-Link intercoms are advanced utilizing surface mount components, multi-layer circuit boards, and shielded to avoid electrical interference common on many aircraft. This electronic noise-limiting design reduces unwanted ambient noise and is powered either by 12-volt aircraft power or an internal 9-volt battery. It has dual channels allowing pilot and passenger to converse in high ambient noise. There two transceiver ports to connect two PTT's and radios. A music port is on the front panel to play music in the background while flying. These intercoms are available in both electret and dynamic versions. A power cord is included with each intercom and the units easily adapt to panel mount applications.
An optional ComBag is available to mount the Intercom to structural tubing on your aircraft.
