Black Hawk Paramotors

Fresh Breeze ParamotorsThe Black Hawk Paramotor has been designed from the ground up by PPG pilots to be extremely well balanced on the pilot’s back and very comfortable both on the ground and in the air. The mid harness carabiner/riser attachment points give both a very stable ride and feel, yet allow for fantastic weight shift steering of the paramotor in flight (great for those no hands picture taking flights). This riser position places the pilots hands in a very natural comfortable PG flying position. The ergonomic frame, low j-bars, comfort pad and deluxe harness all work together to ensure the easiest launching paramotor and the most comfortable flight possible in a Powered Paraglider.

The throttle, gas tank, harness, comfort pad, chrome molly steel frame, cage and netting all are properly designed and crafted to be a perfect fit. This makes the assembly, launching and flying of a Black Hawk Paramotor a real pleasure! Every single Black Hawk Paramotor is completely assembled and tested to perfection prior to shipping to you.

The Black Hawk paramotor is completely portable and will fit in a standard 30 inch suitcase for travel on airlines. The ability to transport your paramotor with you to conventions or holidays will greatly increase the pleasure Powered Paragliders give you!

The Black Hawk has a super light weight yet strongest frame on the market, made with chrome molly steel. It is extremely well balanced, sits high up on the pilot’s back for easy running and carrying (no kicking the bottom of the frame or gas tank on this one). It comes with a fast removable gas tank for easy refills and transport (with 100% positive seal on caps); well fitting ergonomic throttle that is long enough to sit in your lap and has a protected kill switch; super comfortable plush deluxe harness comes standard with three large pockets on the sides and under seat; vibration damping back comfort pad standard; steel 26 KN auto closed gate carabiners standard and extremely high quality construction and powder coating paint.

Here are some of the features that make the Black Hawk such a popular paramotor:

WEIGHT SHIFT FRAME
The Black Hawk standard frame, J-bars, Harness and carabiner placement are all positioned to be like the free flight experience with excellent weight shift turning ability on the stock frame. The optional geared J-bar auto steering weight shift kit can actually exceed the weight shift on many free flight harnesses with no hands steering of up to 10 inches of riser travel. Many paramotor brands advertise good weight shift on their frames, but in reality have little to none available on most brand models. The carabiners and harness leave the pilots hands in a very comfortable low position and allow complete access to the risers in flight.

HARNESS
The Black Hawk has an unusually comfortable harness for a paramotor, featuring a deep, well padded seat and back rest. Black Hawk spent years changing and redesigning their harness for Powered Paragliders so that it is extremely comfortable both on the ground and in the air, as well as very easy to get into the seat once in flight.

50% of all new Black Hawk Paramotor owners have owned other brand paramotors and switched to the Black Hawk because of its extreme comfort in flight and ease of launching from the ground. It comes with three large pockets, two on the sides and one large one under the seat. The zippers are easy pull and the pockets are deep for lots of storage. This harness can be adjusted to be comfortable from a 5 foot tall pilot all the way up to the 6'7 foot tall pilots as well.

COMFORT PAD
The exclusive Black Hawk comfort pad is a one inch thick, high density foam covered pad that insulates the pilot from all engine vibrations and adds to the incredible smooth ride of the Black Hawk paramotor. The Black Hawk is renowned for its comfort in flight and on the ground due to the harness, back comfort pad and the exclusive curved back frame.

THROTTLE
The Black Hawk Throttle not only will fit a pilot with a very large hand but will also fit the very smallest woman's hand with ease as well. The easy to reach kill switch is protected so as not to accidentally kill the engine in flight. The throttle post is rubber covered to insulate the aluminum post for those cold morning flights. The velcro strap will accommodate the largest glove and still secure the throttle from coming off the pilot hands. This throttle can be placed in the left or right hand with ease and is long enough to sit right on the pilots lap for those long fun flights.

FRAME
1- The black Hawk frame is made of chrome molly steel which is incredibly strong yet very light weight at the same time (this is the same material the most expensive bicycles are made from today). The frame back is curved to fit the human back comfortably with no pressure points to stress or fatigue the pilot in flight.

2- The Black Hawk Paramotor frame is the only one in America that breaks down into individual parts that allow it to fit completely into our standard airline ready suitcase in less then 4 minutes. The complete Black Hawk paramotor ready to fly (except gas) only weighs 51lbs on our 100cc model and 56lbs on our 172cc Black Devil 25 hp engine model.

3- Our frame sits high up on the pilots back (even on the smallest pilot) so the weight is easy to carry and the pilots legs are completely free to run with no possibility of kicking anything on the bottom of the paramotor. This high up frame configuration makes the Black Hawk paramotor by far the easiest paramotor ever designed to launch off the ground.

The center of gravity on the Black hawk is perfectly centered down the middle of the frame so the weight is close to the pilots back for easy carrying and running on the ground. Most all other paramotors have the center of gravity weight away from the pilots back making launching very difficult, making the pilot feel as if he is going to fall over backwards.

4- It is easy to stand up off the ground with the Black Hawk due to the seat being one foot off the ground and the paramotor harness being secured closely to the pilots back and not flopping around. This high up seat protects the pilot in a hard landings as well as the frame will contact the ground well prior to the pilot touching down.

5- The Black Hawk Paramotor features complete portability so it can be taken in a motorhome, boat, airplane or even in the smallest of cars.

6- The Black Hawk cage is extremely strong for forward launches but also is easy, fast and cheap to repair if ever damaged.

REMOVABLE GAS TANK
The Black Hawk gas tank removes completely from the paramotor frame in seconds, which allows for easy transporting of the paramotor with no spills or smells and no hassle, easy mixing and filling of the gas tank. The gas tank cap, fuel line, and vent lines are all screw down positively sealed with no leaks whatsoever. Many new pilots are not aware of the huge advantage of a removable gas tank in their daily usage of their paramotor, but appreciate this many times over once they start flying. The Black Hawk gas tank is lower than the engine, well above the ground when standing and close to the frame for complete safety.

The shape of the Black Hawk gas tank holds the gas centered with little ability to slosh from side to side. Most tanks in use today slosh and move and shift the pilot when the weight of the gas moves.

Black hawk Hard Cage Option
The Black Hawk four part cage assembly is extremely strong with a large prop to cage clearance. The double cage comes apart in four (4) even sections for transport.

The super comfortable Black Hawk deulxe harness, comfort pad, custom throttle and fast removable gas tank are standard on all Black hawk models. This option adds approx. 6 lbs to the total weight.
